According to Ohanaze, a soft landing for Nnamdi Kanu would help quell another round of violence that may engulf the southeast.
The group urged governors of the region to take advantage of their cordial relationship with President Muhammadu Buhari to help the IPOB leader so as to sustain the peaceful atmosphere that has returned to the region.
The minister of justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria has adjusted some charges filed against the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
