La Liga side, Barcelona are willing to sign Chelsea winger, Hakim Ziyech, on loan in the January transfer window.
This is coming after the club signed its former player, Xavi Hernandez, as its manager.
The Spanish side is planning to sign Ziyech on a short term deal as the debt issue in the club will prevent them from signing him permanently.
Ziyech is on the list of names presented by Barcelona new manager as part of the players that he wants to bring to Camp Nou.
The Morocco International who has struggled for playing time in Chelsea this season under Thomas Tuchel, might be willing to join Barcelona to have more playing time.
Ziyech’s £100,000-a-week wages won’t stop the La Liga side from signing him despite Barcelona’s financial situation.
Barcelona is a long-term admirer of the Morocco international and even tried to sign him from Ajax in 2019, a year before he joined Chelsea in a £38million deal.
Xavi have eyes on alternative targets if they lose out on Ziyech.
Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman is also on their list after being the subject of interest in the summer
