The Saudi Supreme Court announced that Wednesday will be the completion of the month of Ramadan, so Thursday will be the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
The Saudi High Court had called for the investigation of the crescent of the month of Shawwal on Tuesday evening, according to a press release.
The Saudi moon sighting has announced that the crescent moon of Shawwal has not been seen in the country.
This means that the fast will be observed on Wednesday and this year’s Ramadan will be completed with 30 fasts.
The court called on whoever sees the crescent with the naked eye or by “telescope” to inform the nearest court and record his testimony.
The Saudi astronomer, an Indian inspirer, said in a tweet on Twitter that “Thursday unites Muslims” as it is impossible to see the crescent on the 29th of Ramadan, so that the Wednesday that completes it, and Thursday, the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
