Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has warned politicians not to assume Nigeria of 2021 is the same as 2015 or 2019.
Naija News reports that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart made this known in a post on his Twitter handle on Thursday.
According to the former minister, self-determination is now the rule of the day as power rotation and restructuring are no longer important.
Fani-Kayode also stated that ethnic nationalists are those with real power and control the biggest crowds.
“The biggest mistake any politician can make is to assume that the Nigeria of 2021 is the same as the Nigeria of 2015 or 2019,” Fani-Kayode wrote.
“The rules of engagement & the entire game has changed. The quest for self-determination is now the rule of the day & not power rotation or restructuring.
“Those that have real power and that control the biggest crowds today are not the politicians but the ethnic nationalists.
“They are also the most dangerous and whether you like it or not they are here to stay.”
