Some Nigerian soldiers, who are part of the troops fighting Boko Haram and other insurgents in the North East region have pleaded to be rotated and given a break from the war front.

The troops who lamented that they have been fighting the insurgents for five consecutive years or more said they had hoped they would have been rotated by their commanders.

2023: PDP Panel Rubbishes Zoning, Throws Presidential Ticket Open

A panel of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chaired by Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has said zoning should not determine the party’s presidential candidate, come 2023.

Naija News reports that the panel constituted to review the performance of the party in the 2019 general elections submitted its report to the PDP National Working Committee (NWC).
