Many social media users have condemned residents who stripped and paraded a young lady for allegedly stealing a fowl in Akwa Ibom.

Activist and advocates have been campaigning for the end of jungle justice in Nigeria, and this development won’t help the cause.

A young unidentified lady was stripped naked and paraded Urua Anwa, Oruk Anam Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state for allegedly stealing a fowl in Akwa Ibom.

In the photos, the woman was pictured with the fowl tied around her back while being paraded in the village by some youths.
