ASUU finally Calls off strike of 9 months

Breaking news today is that the academic union of universities has now finally called off the 9 month old strike which started February 2020

Recall that the federal government of Nigeria and the academic union of universities have been meeting on several occasions

But in a press conference held today, December, 23, 2020, the federal government of Nigeria and ASUU confirmed that they have resolved their differences

This means that after the Christmas holding the Students and Lecturers will be allowed to return to school

The academic union of universities have been against the Payment system introduced by the government of Nigeria
