UCL: PSG and Basaksehir players walk off pitch over alleged racism by referee

PSG and Basaksehir players walked off pitch, and their Champions League game is now suspended, over alleged racism by a referee.

According to reports, both PSG & Istanbul Başakşehir have left the pitch after the 4th official used the ’N word’ against a player.

Many social media users have applauded the players for walking off the pitch, as many described it as the right attitude towards racism.

A video making rounds on social media has also showed the moment Demba Ba responded to the racial slur, as he wondered why the match official had to refer to the colour of a black person.
