Yakubu: Rohr and Some Super Eagles Players Not Good Enough

Former Nigerian International, Aiyegbeni Yakubu, has reacted to the recent performances of the Nigerian National Men’s Team.

He launched an attack on the head coach, Gernot Rohr, and some of the Players labelling them as Not Good Enough.

Aiyegbeni said this after the double header against Sierra Leone in the 2021 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers where they obtained just two points out of a possible six.

The first match saw the Leone Stars come back from a four goal deficit in the first half to end the match in a draw. While the second match ended in a goalless draw.

The events prompted the former Everton Striker to say;

The coach is not good enough, let him go,

Some of the boys are not good enough, I don’t know where they are bringing them from. Who is inviting these players?

Our football is getting worse every day. When I was there, people criticise us, but we’re way better than these ones.

The coach is not good enough, no clue. Gernot Rohr is one of the worst coaches in our history. He is not good enough.
