Reacting to the news of news of nationwide roads blockages in Nigeria, Kanu said “Organisers should allow free movement of people,” Kanu said.
“The only vehicle they cannot allow is army or police truck.
“That is how it is done in a revolution.
“They must allow people to move because there may be pregnant women trying to get to the hospital.
“There may be sick people trying to get to the hospital.
“Somebody should tell the organizers that I said they must allow people to move.
“You must allow vehicular movement.
“When they are passing, they will be tooting their horns for the protesters.
“That is how it is done. You don’t block everywhere.
“You must allow people to move.
“You don’t block main arterial routes where people are going to use to get to their workplace or to attend to an errand.
“You cannot block the roads.
“The time hasn’t come.
“If you do it now, you fail.
“Tell them that that is what I said.
“They must allow access for people to pass.”
