The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Agboola Ajayi has debunked the report that he has dumped his governorship ambition, and withdraw from the race.
Naija News reports that a resignation letter surfaced online earlier today,10th of October 2020 where the deputy governor was reported to dump his governorship ambition, and withdraw from the race.
However, in a reaction to the development the Deputy Governor via press statement made available to Naija News describe the report as fake news
He also said that the withdrawal was a figment of hyperactive imagination. He said those peddling rumours and falsehood are agents of potential losers of the poll. Ajayi also accused the Ondo State Governor and the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN of forging the letter to misinform the public.
This fake news being sponsored by the outgoing Governor and his cohorts. It’s not different from the earlier ones sponsored and paid for that the Zenith Labour Party’s Candidate, Agboola Ajayi is working with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Eyitayo Jegede SAN.
