Kai Havertz and Timo Werner have been thrown straight into the Chelsea starting XI for their Premier League opener against Brighton on Monday night.
However, there was no room in the side for Blues captain Cesar Azplicueta and fellow regular Antonio Rudiger, who both start on the bench.
Chelsea have spent more than £200million in the transfer market this summer, but fans will have to wait to see the likes of Hakim Ziyech and Ben Chilwell due to injury problems.
Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr, who arrived on free transfers, are also unavailable for the season opener.
Supporters will get a glimpse of attacking stars Werner and Havertz in Lampard’s fearsome new attack.
Elsewhere, Kepa Arrizabalaga regains his place in goal despite doubts about his future at Stamford Bridge, while Adam Lallana makes his debut for Brighton.
